It is amorphous at delivery and sealable. It can be used for food products that are cooked in the pack and/or reheated in a microwave or conventional oven.

PET coating paper board is an eco-friendly high-quality board specially designed for pressed and folded trays and other ovenable paper container, which have high requirements for formability. PET coating paper board is food-safe, ecological as a renewable material, and works exceptionally well in ovenable container forming. With high heat-resistant but thin PET coating, paper containers made of PET can be used for heating or warming up prepared and semi-prepared foods. The white, black or transparent PET coating also provides protection against humidity, grease, and oxygen. PET coating paper board delivers excellent results in flexographic and offset printing to showcase brands. It’s easy convertability and stability offers many opportunities for shelf differentiation.

Sowinpaper can supply Kraft/White/Bamboo fiber material with white, black, transparent PET coating, from 210gsm to 340gsm paper material, with additional 30g PET coating.

From freezer to oven, from -40°C to 220°C, great material for baking package, ready-meal package and other ovenable packages. Besides, the material is perfect applied to the forming of pressed trays, ovenable paper bowls and boxes, etc.

Moreover, compared with fully plastic container, the PET coating paper containers reduce 80% plastic usage. The production process also reduces the usage of water, photochemical oxidation and energy requirement. Besides, it uses less minerals and fuels, reducing CO2 emissions.
